    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Fine Gold Resources</span> is a precious metals mining company operating in the Yukon. We operate on a seasonal basis from March to October and we are looking to hire a seasonal <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Plant Operator</span>, to be based outside of Dawson City, Yukon.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We provide accommodation and meals at our on-site camp and offer a highly competitive compensation package.</p>\n<p>The mine operates 24/7 with two shifts each day - a day shift and a night shift - with a rotation schedule. During their time off employees may stay on-site at the camp or venture to Dawson City for some time away.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>For candidates local to the Dawson City area, we are open to considering an onsite / offsite working schedule.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Duties:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently to meet hourly and daily production targets.</li>\n<li>Ensure full compliance with all safety and operating procedures.</li>\n<li>Follow directions from the Mine Supervisor for the day-to-day operations work schedule.</li>\n<li>Perform pre-&amp; post inspection check-up of the equipment and write/keep equipment log.</li>\n<li>Immediately report any defect found on equipment.</li>\n<li>Responsible for and/or assist in fueling and filling all the fluids in the equipment to the right level.</li>\n<li>Assist in the maintenance works of the equipment.</li>\n<li>Prepare and submit the necessary required daily reports as directed.</li>\n<li>Run the sluice plants including water pump, generators, conveyors, trommels and shaker decks, greasing and minor maintenance, shovel, climb ladders and crawl around tight spots.</li>\n<li>Perform other functions as maybe directed from time to time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 2 year previous plant operations experience in a mine environment is an asset.</li>\n<li>Experience working around heavy-duty equipment is an asset.</li>\n<li>Physically fit to do manual labour and heavy lifting.</li>\n<li>Ability to work day and night shifts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Interested candidates are invited to submit their application, including a resume and cover letter.
