The Trainer will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning by implementing effective instructional methods, utilizing adult learning principles, and measuring training effectiveness.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to support employee development.</li>\n <li>Develop and update training materials, including presentations, guides, e-learning modules, and job aids.</li>\n <li>Assess training needs through collaboration with leadership, employee feedback, and performance evaluations.</li>\n <li>Adapt training methods to different learning styles, ensuring maximum engagement and retention.</li>\n <li>Monitor and measure the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics.</li>\n <li>Provide coaching and support to employees, ensuring they apply learned skills to their roles.</li>\n <li>Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training programs.</li>\n <li>Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling sessions, securing training spaces, and managing training materials.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of experience in training, facilitation, or instructional design.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.</li>\n <li>Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in using training technologies, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS, Xtime, CDK, E-leads, roadster, etc.) and virtual training tools such as zoom or teams.</li>\n <li>Ability to assess training effectiveness and adjust programs accordingly.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and project management skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in automotive is preferred but not required. </li>\n <li>Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD, or equivalent) is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Travel Requirements </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>More than 50%</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Expected salary range- $66,528 - $99,972</p>\n<p><em>*All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include: background checks, MVR, and drug testing in order to qualify for employment*</em></p>\n<p><em></em></p>\n<p><em>Group 1 Automotive is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and participates in E-Verify</em></p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
