    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The College seeks to establish a pool of experienced individuals with good interpersonal skills who will be responsible to tutor individuals/small groups of students in fundamental and advanced areas of automotive technology.Provide instructional, technological and clerical support to the learning process.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare demonstration material for faculty instruction.</li>\n <li>Tutor individual students and small groups of students in fundamental and advanced areas of knowledge and facilitate student study groups. Work with individual students to develop effective study skills.</li>\n <li>Assign and oversee work study and student help.</li>\n <li>Respond to student questions requiring an in-depth knowledge of the subject matter, course concepts and learning objectives.</li>\n <li>Monitor special tests.</li>\n <li>Monitor student progress in achieving learning objectives and provide instructors with feedback and evaluation of student progress.</li>\n <li>Maintain student records, appointment schedules and laboratory schedules.</li>\n <li>Maintain and repair lab facilities and equipment.</li>\n <li>Instruct and supervise students in a scheduled laboratory section.</li>\n <li>Score and grade tests and laboratory experiences in order to provide a laboratory grade to the faculty.</li>\n <li>Recommend the purchase of lab supplies, materials, equipment and software.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications: </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Education:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>AS/AAS in an appropriate subject area required and/or must have a minimum of 8-10 years current experience in all phases of automotive systems diagnosis and repair.</li>\n <li>Master ASE certificatioon (Tests A1 through A8) preferred.</li>\n</ul>Experience:\n<ul>\n <li>Mentoring experience a plus.</li>\n</ul>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to communicate ideas, principles and concepts effectively.</li>\n <li>Computer literacy required with a demonstrated ability to utilize and apply college software applications to the learning process.</li>\n <li>Certain disciplines require a valid driver’s license.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities.</li>\n <li>Certain disciplines require the ability to travel locally, the ability to lift, push or pull up to 60 lbs., and requirements to meet grooming and appearance standards in conformance with Board of Health requirements.</li>\n <li>Position requires daytime availability.</li>\n <li>Must be able to operate sophisticated automotive equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Application Documents</h2>Cover Letter, Other, Resume\n<h2>Pay Rate</h2>$21.36/hr",
