This position involves providing security and monitoring services 24/7, with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets. The role will have responsibilities across various posts, including Screening SP, Dock Office SP, and Control Room SP.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES</u> :</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Access Control:</strong>Monitoring entry and exit points, verifying ID, issuing visitor passes and ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises (including operation of access control systems such as key cards).</li>\n <li><strong>Patrolling:</strong>Conduct regular internal and external patrols of floors, common areas, parkades to deter unwanted activity, identify risks, and monitor safety conditions.</li>\n <li><strong>Surveillance Monitoring:</strong>Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms and building systems from a central security desk and respond immediately to suspicious activity or alarms.</li>\n <li><strong>Emergency Response:</strong>Act as first responder to medical emergencies, fires, safety hazards, or breaches. Follow site protocols, assist with evacuations and coordinate with Police / Fire / EMS when required.</li>\n <li><strong>Customer Service:</strong>Support building tenants and visitors professionally, providing directions, assistance and “safe walk” escort services to vehicles when requested.</li>\n <li><strong>Incident Reporting:</strong>Maintain accurate logs, shift notes and incident reports for any irregularities, observations, breaches or occurrences.</li>\n <li><strong>Enforcement:</strong>Ensure all building policies (parking, no-smoking, rules & safety standards) are followed by all parties on site.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIREMENTS</u> :</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Open availability for rotational shifts, including days, nights, and weekends </li>\n <li>Must be able to reliably commute to the location</li>\n <li>Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites</li>\n <li>Must have a valid Ontario Security License. </li>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada up to <strong>40 </strong>hours a week. </li>\n <li>First Aid and CPR </li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years old. </li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience </li>\n <li>Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Benefits</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li>\n <li>Paid training and development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Disclaimer</u>:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
