The Design Automation Specialist &ndash; Inventor iLogic performs a variety of activities to support the design department in delivering 3D fabrication-ready part files to the in-house manufacturing department using Autodesk Inventor, while also managing a library of parametric parts in Autodesk Vault. This role will help shape the organization by leveraging 3D design technology and processes aligned with company objectives. Tuttle Railings, a Dant Clayton Division, is seeking a candidate who can bring fresh ideas to the table and collaboratively improve Design for Manufacturing &amp; Assembly (DFMA) principles and design automation processes within a fast-growing team.</p><p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&bull;Create, maintain, and organize custom Autodesk Inventor parts and assemblies within Vault for fabrication teams.</p><p>&bull;Lead development of Inventor &amp; Vault processes with automation (iLogic, PowerShell, CoolOrange, etc.), including the creation of parametric parts and assemblies.</p><p>&bull;Maintain standard processes for Inventor &amp; Vault with internal/external design partners and other Dant Clayton stakeholders (manufacturing department).</p><p>&bull;Implement Autodesk Inventor &amp; Vault as a part of the standard design &amp; manufacturing processes to streamline information transfer from design to manufacturing.</p><p>&bull;Integrate design data into the company ERP (INFOR CloudSuite SiteLine) for reporting.</p><p>&bull;Attend and participate in cross-functional team meetings; collaborate on vision and execution of company initiatives to improve design processes.</p><p>&bull;Develop comprehensive knowledge of Dant Clayton products, identify opportunities for improvement (value engineering), and make constructivesuggestions for change.</p><p>&bull;Communicate processes, automation, and logic to downstream designers to ensure a clear understanding of design and drafting processes.</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>&bull;Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher with an educational background in manufacturing, construction, architecture, or engineering.</p><p>&bull;Certificate in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (preferred) and/or relevant experience.</p><p>&bull;Proven experience in designing automation and workflows for manufacturing parametric assemblies and parts.</p><p>&bull;General understanding of manufacturing/design practices and principles; familiarity with structural framing requirements.</p><p>&bull;Demonstrated ability to manage/coordinate software implementation (Inventor or similar) for design and manufacturing processes.</p><p>&bull;Self-starter who is focused, articulate, well-organized, and detail-oriented.</p><p>&bull;Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.</p><p>&bull;Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</p><p>&bull;Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and CAD; familiarity with other 3D software, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office products.</p><p>&bull;Passion for technological advancement and personal growth.</p><p>&bull;Salary position based on a 40-hour work week; overtime may be required to meet project needs.</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><p>&bull;Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</p><p>&bull;Must be able up to lift to twenty-five pounds at times.</p><p><br></p></div>\n",
