The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine-Chattanooga, is seeking a full-time, non-tenured Assistant Professor and Program Director.
Responsibilities
The Director of Vascular Surgery Fellowship at UT Health Science Center-COM Chattanooga ensures educational requirements of the ACGME-accredited Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program are met. Fellow Supervision – ensures fellows are board eligible upon completion of the 2-year fellowship and meet all ACGME requirements for program completion. Meet expectations of the affiliated clinical partner clinical duties, ensure required direct and indirect supervision of fellow patient care in accordance with ACGME and regulatory requirements; ensure appropriate resources are available to lead fellows in required scholarly activity expectations.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: MD or DO Degree.
LICENSES: American College of Surgeons Board certification or equivalent. Active TN Medical License.
DEPARTMENTAL PREFERENCES:
Three (3) years of clinical/administrative experience post-Vascular Surgery fellowship completion. Medical Education experience is preferred.
