We work on a wide range of substation equipment—power transformers, breakers, switches, arresters, and control cabinets—and perform essential diagnostics such as TTR, winding resistance, insulation resistance, power‑factor testing, and oil analysis through our dedicated in‑house laboratory. This role coordinates daily field activities, reinforces safety and quality standards, and guides technicians through transformer assembly, apparatus inspections, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and support crews performing inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair of transformers and high voltage apparatus. </li>\n <li>Reinforce a strong safety culture through PPE adherence and regular Job Behavior Observations (JBOs). </li>\n <li>Plan and coordinate field activities including task assignments and resource planning. </li>\n <li>Maintain documentation of service activities, equipment status, and customer interactions. </li>\n <li>Provide technical guidance and mentoring to field technicians. </li>\n <li>Stay informed on transformer technologies and substation practices. </li>\n <li>Address customer concerns and support issue resolution. </li>\n <li>Prepare reports related to service performance and project outcomes. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li>\n <li>Strong communication and organizational skills </li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a field team </li>\n <li>Proficiency with MS Office and digital file systems </li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and insurable record </li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in outdoor high voltage environments </li>\n <li>Frequent travel, including overnight stays </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in high voltage testing or transformer/substation maintenance </li>\n <li>Scheduling or project coordination experience </li>\n <li>Familiarity with transformer components and apparatus diagnostics </li>\n <li>Exposure to power factor sets, insulation resistance testers, TTR devices, or similar tools </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment & Physical Requirements: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Outdoor substation environments with weather, noise, and energized equipment </li>\n <li>Regular travel and overnight stays </li>\n <li>PPE required  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EEO Statement</strong> </p>\n<p>NASS, an Asplundh Power Company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
