Employees operate in clean, highly professional healthcare environments where safety, attention to detail, and customer confidence are critical.</p>\n<p>As a Lead, you are responsible for consultation, coordination, planning, execution and final job outcomes. You will serve as the primary point of contact on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to MEC’s “white glove\" standards while leading, directing and developing crew members. This role offers a clear path for a high-performing tradesperson to expand leadership impact while continuing to build advanced technical expertise.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Core Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span>Lead the full-cycle process from receipt and cross-docking through crew planning, task sequencing, and on-site execution for equipment moves and final placement</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></li>\n<li>Create job requirements in advance, including manpower, access, tools, route planning, site protection, and other various contingencies</li>\n<li>Direct rigging, hoisting, and equipment handling activities safely and efficiently</li>\n<li>Serve as the primary field point of contact for customers, hospital staff, vendors, manufacturers' representatives, and internal operations</li>\n<li>Ensure strict “white glove” execution, including protection of floors, walls, and sensitive environments</li>\n<li>Oversee loading, protection, securement, and transport preparation of equipment in accordance with manufacturer standards and DOT requirements</li>\n<li>Make real-time field decisions to adapt to site conditions while maintaining safety and quality</li>\n<li>Complete required reports, provide photographs and job documentation accurately and on time</li>\n<li>Train, coach, and develop Level 1 and Level 2 employees while reinforcing MEC standards</li>\n<li>Support company vehicle driving responsibilities when qualified and assigned</li>\n<li>Work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends, with periodic travel primarily within the Mid-Atlantic region based on customer needs.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Skills Required for Success</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced understanding of rigging principles, including load balance, equipment limitations, and complex lifts</li>\n<li>Strong leadership presence with the ability to direct crews and maintain accountability</li>\n<li>High-level mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability in dynamic field conditions</li>\n<li>Ability to plan, organize, and execute work in sensitive healthcare environments</li>\n<li>Professional communication skills with strong customer-facing credibility</li>\n<li>Commitment to safety leadership, quality execution, and team development</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3–5+ years of field experience in specialty rigging, placement, or high-value equipment handling</li>\n<li><span>CDL Required:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Premium paid for valid Class A ($5 per hour) or Class B ($3 per hour) CDL upon employment </span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience leading crews and managing field execution</li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of rigging methods, site protection, and customer-facing operations</li>\n<li>Ability to plan work, direct team members, and maintain performance under changing conditions</li>\n<li>Willingness to travel regionally and support variable schedules</li>\n<li>Ability to travel periodically required, including overnight and weekends</li>\n<li>OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred</li>\n<li>Forklift certification preferred</li>\n<li>Advanced material handling experience required</li>\n<li>Prior experience handling medical equipment or other high-value industrial equipment required</li>\n<li>NCCCO Rigger or similar certification preferred</li>\n</ul>",
