    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Senior Network Engineer</strong> is responsible for administration, operation, monitoring, support and maintenance of  local area network (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Servers, SANs, VMWare, Active Directory, Exchange, and  Hosted (Cloud) applications such as O365. Provides consultation to business management and staff at the highest  technical level for design, configuration and performance in a heterogeneous technology environment. Provides  Tier-3 technical support for OS, Server, and Cloud applications. Promotes and practices adherence to Information  Security policies and best practices.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Plans, coordinates, and installs hardware (e.g. LAN/WAN, Server) and software.</li>\n <li>Resolves and/or coordinates the resolution of infrastructure problems, malfunctions.</li>\n <li>Provides technical support and guidelines to IT staff and other areas through documenmaintenance. Periodically assists with Information Security procedures and processes.</li>\n <li>Assists in presentations to management. Evaluates new products and emerging technologies.</li>\n <li>Provides technical recommendations to improve network performance and support business requirements.</li>\n <li>Ensures reliability, performance, recoverability, and security of infrastructure components, operating systems and various applications.</li>\n <li>Performs implementations, configurations, coordination, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring, and capacity management.</li>\n <li>Participates itation.</li>\n <li>Maintains the integrity of infrastructure hardware and software through proactive</li>\n <li>n disaster recovery planning and simulations.</li>\n <li>Provides support for Microsoft 2003/2008/2012 Windows servers.</li>\n <li>Provides support of LAN, MS Domain and related services, Active Directory, MS back office products, Exchange, IIS, SQL and other enterprise applications.</li>\n <li>Performs LAN/WAN engineering of primarily Cisco based Switches and Routers.</li>\n <li>Designs, maintains and modifies IP routing and VLAN topologies.</li>\n <li>Provides maintenance/support for Internet/WAN, Firewalls, DMZ, DNS, NAT, Policies, Routing and ACLs.</li>\n <li>Installs, configures, and troubleshoots various networking devices including Switches, Routers, Network Security Devices, Load Balancers, Wireless Controllers, and Access Points.</li>\n <li>Analyzes trends and assists in the development and design of networks.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoots and performs tests to identify and resolve complex problems.</li>\n <li>Monitors network resources and carriers to ensure availability and performance.</li>\n <li>Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves problems affecting network performance.</li>\n <li>Backfills and supports other team members when needed; during business hours or after scheduled work hours.</li>\n <li>Answers all network-related trouble tickets/emails.</li>\n <li>Supports staff as required to provide a positive customer experience.</li>\n <li>Ability to successfully plan, document, and perform maintenance on production networks and adhere to change management policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Works with peers and leadership from different functions and has an impact across the department.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>7 years related IT/Networking experience required.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<strong>Knowledge, Skills & Ability</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Cisco experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Relevant experience in a Windows server environment working with VMWare, Citrix, and Exchange.</li>\n <li>Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (O365) is a plus.</li>\n <li>Linux experience is a plus.</li>\n <li>Relevant professional and technical certifications (Microsoft, VMWare, EMC, Dell, Cisco, etc.) preferred.</li>\n <li>Own and solve complex tasks that are part of a large project and lead small projects on their own.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Disclaimer</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Logix Federal Credit Union is an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran or disability status, or any other status protected by law.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $48.48 - USD $75.15 /Hr.\n<h2>Base Pay</h2>",
