    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Summary</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The Sr. Standards &amp; Compliance Manager, is a senior technical leadership role responsible for shaping Vertiv’s external influence and internal alignment across advanced power system architectures, industry ecosystems, and standards frameworks&nbsp;in Data Center applications.&nbsp;This role leads and coordinates Vertiv’s PowerBU engagement in consortia &nbsp;(e.g., OCP) and aligns enterprise positions on Codes (NEC, NFPA, etc) and Standards (UL, IEC, etc) to ensure Vertiv’s approach is consistent, defensible, and influential.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>External Industry &amp; Ecosystem Leadership (OCP, Consortia)</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as Vertiv’s senior technical representative for advanced power systems in industry ecosystems and technical forums.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Influence industry direction on next-gen architectures (e.g., high-density power, DC/hybrid AC-DC, storage integration, MV/LV interfaces).&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Coordinate Vertiv participation across Product Lines; drive one aligned Vertiv position, messaging, and participation plan.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prepare position papers, briefs, and executive summaries; advocate Vertiv’s viewpoint externally.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Engage directly with&nbsp;hyperscalers, utilities, and ecosystem partners on future system requirements and deployment models.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Position Vertiv as a thought leader via contributions, panels, and technical outputs.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Codes, Standards &amp; Regulatory Alignment</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead &amp; coordinate Vertiv’s system-level positions on codes/standards/regulatory topics tied to advanced architectures.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Identify&nbsp;gaps/conflicts/risks between emerging architectures and existing codes/standards; drive internal alignment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support customer and industry discussions with credible system-level interpretation of codes and standards.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Develop internal guidance and executive-ready summaries on direction, implications, and decisions.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Internal Coordination, Strategy Translation, and Reporting</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as the central interface between external engagement and internal system architecture development.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensure industry learnings translate into reference architectures, design guidance, and roadmaps.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Brief executive leadership on trends, architectural implications, and forward-looking risks/opportunities.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>System Safety / Protection (as needed)</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead or support arc flash, GFD, and related system-level safety analyses to inform architecture, standards, and service positions.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Preferred&nbsp;expertise: GFD, arc flash, grounding/protection-related topics.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>BSEE (or related).&nbsp;</li>\n <li>15+ years in power systems, power electronics, or advanced infrastructure architectures.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Demonstrated, hands-on standards &amp; compliance experience&nbsp;required&nbsp;(product &amp; systems experience preferred).&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, UL (and similar)&nbsp;required.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>System-level&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;across conversion, distribution, and integration.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong external-facing experience with customers/industry groups/consortia.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Proven ability to&nbsp;operate&nbsp;across large, matrixed global orgs; executive-level communication.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced degree preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Hands-on design experience in power / power electronics preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Participation in standards bodies / technical working groups (e.g., OCP, IEEE, IEC, UL).&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience with next-gen architectures (DC distribution, SST, high-density AI power, storage integration).&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Preferred&nbsp;expertise: GFD, arc flash, and related safety domains.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Travel</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Up to ~30%, domestic &amp; global.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>",
