Your attention to detail and proactive approach to maintenance activities will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and a well-maintained workplace for our staff.</p>\n<ul>\n <li> Perform routine cleaning and maintenance activities to uphold the store’s appearance and hygiene standards.</li>\n <li>Sweep, mop, and run floor scrubber regularly to keep a clean and safe surface for both customers and associates. </li>\n <li>Empty trash receptacles and replace garbage bags to maintain a tidy environment.</li>\n <li>Clean and disinfect restrooms and breakrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with essential supplies.</li>\n <li>Wipe down surfaces such as counters, display shelves, and fixtures to maintain a polished and organized presentation. </li>\n <li>Conduct basic repairs and maintenance activities such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor plumbing issues, and repairing damaged fixtures. </li>\n <li>Monitor and report any safety hazards, malfunctioning equipment, or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor. </li>\n <li>Assist in store activities such as unloading trucks, stocking, or zoning merchandise when time allows. </li>\n <li>Preserve an uncluttered exterior by managing parking lot cleanliness and trash removal.</li>\n <li>Operate a floor scrubber proficiently.</li>\n <li>Participate in cross-training for flexibility in various departments and responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments. </li>\n <li>Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively. </li>\n <li>Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify Rural King’s Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement. </li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>None</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h1>Essential Qualities for Success</h1>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 3 years of retail cashier or retail supervisory experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.</li>\n <li>Meticulous attention to detail and strong math skills for accurate cash handling.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to thoroughly review and analyze information, identifying errors or inconsistencies to maintain high levels of accuracy. </li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills to implement policies and procedures, direct staff, and provide customer service.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, instructions, and information clearly and concisely. </li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to actively listen, ask relevant questions, and provide thorough and articulate responses. </li>\n <li>Excellent customer service skills. </li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities. </li>\n <li>Flexibility with hours: ability to work a 40-hour workweek with varied hours, days, nights, and weekends as business dictates.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1> </h1>\n<h1>Physical Requirements  </h1>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.</li>\n <li>Able to navigate and access all facilities.</li>\n <li>Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.</li>\n <li>Close vision for computer-related activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
