Qualifications
The ideal auditor candidate will possess most of the following criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field related to Heat Treating and five (5) years in technical field related to heat treatingOR:
High School Diploma and 10 years heat treating and/or brazing experience, in the Aerospace, Medical, Transportation or Power Generation industries
Hands-on experience with some of the following heat treating materials and processes: steels, aluminum, titanium, heat resisting alloys, brazing, carburizing and nitriding
Knowledge and experience of laboratory testing requirements such as mechanical testing and metallurgical evaluation would be advantageous
Familiarity with AMS 2750 and / or CQI 9
Familiarity with Industry Specifications
