We pride ourselves on our interactive and supportive work environment, where we rally together to achieve corporate success while enjoying every moment along the way.<br><br></p>\n<p>Your Role: <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Lumber Take-Off Estimator</span> – reporting to our VP Sales &amp; Design<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Bring:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read, interpret, and understand blueprints and building codes related to residential, commercial projects.</li>\n<li>Produce accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates for lumber and related materials using software tools.</li>\n<li>Ability to examine drawings and blueprints for intent, conformity, and error.</li>\n<li>Estimate the quantity and types of lumber and related materials needed for various construction projects.</li>\n<li>Generate quotes quickly, efficiently, and accurately for customers.</li>\n<li>Exceptional customer service attitude to maintain excellent client interaction.</li>\n<li>Communicate with engineers, architects, and contractors regarding project details before and during construction.</li>\n<li>Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated skills working in a team environment.</li>\n<li>Proven ability to meet deadlines.</li>\n<li>Attend and participate in company-sponsored training programs as required.<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field – preferred.</li>\n<li>Work experience in the lumber or construction materials industry is an asset and would supersede educational experience.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of construction processes and materials related to single-family, multi-family, and light commercial wood-framed construction.</li>\n<li>Understanding of local building codes and construction practices.</li>\n<li>Possess the skills to work with multiple software platforms\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient with computers is a must</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Bring:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive Salary (based on experience)</li>\n<li>Group Benefits (after 3 months of probation)</li>\n<li>Vacation time</li>\n<li>Free on-site parking</li>\n<li>Casual dress code</li>\n<li>Company events</li>\n<li>Fast-paced, fun, and collaborative work environment</li>\n<li>A team that is invested in YOU – professionally and personally<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please note: While we sincerely appreciate all applications, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.</p>",
