    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p><br>Oversees and coordinates day-to-day quality inspection of parts, components, and materials of manufactured products and processes. &nbsp;Assures assigned team is meeting objectives in the areas of safety, quality, delivery and productivity by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. Responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001</p><p><br><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Conducts periodic and special surveys of facilities and manufacturing processes to determine adequacy and capability of quality control and ability to comply with complete quality specifications.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Reviews quality problems with engineering personnel and directs action required to correct defects.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prepares periodic and special reports concerning departmental activities, problems, quality system, schedules, and rejected items.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lead team in the application of LEAN &nbsp;manufacturing tools, including 5S, Visual Management, 7 Forms of Waste, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Poke Yoke, and Root Cause Corrective action<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain and ensure compliance with the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline whitespace-normal\">ISO 9001</span> QMS requirements</p><p>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lead internal audits and support external audits (certification and customer audits)<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to maintain excellent attendance record&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Train the teams leaders on related topic and to reach them to required skill level<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist in internal audits- Layered Process Audits and Product Audits&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for Quality KPI targets (overtime, attendance defects, COPQ, ) of the quality team leaders and inspectors<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform other duties as required.</p><p><br><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Supervise a team of team leaders and quality inspectors directly. Responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of quality inspector team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline whitespace-normal\">ISO 9001</span>.</p><p><strong>Education/ Skills/ Experience:</strong></p><p><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;5+ years supervisory/management experience strongly preferred<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Enthusiasm and the ability to motivate others<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to maintain excellent attendance record<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Analytical and problem-solving skills</p><p><br><strong>Training Requirements:</strong></p><p><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must attend all mandatory HR training modules such as drug testing, harassment, FMLA, positive work environment, etc.</p><p><br><strong>Physical Skills and Abilities:</strong></p><p><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to be on the factory floor for long periods of time, potentially working across all shifts at times.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Stamina to work 50+ hours / week to support plant performance.<br>&nbsp;</p>",
