    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>The IS Manager (ISM) for Master Data is a hands-on leader who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments and can operate effectively across technical, business, and executive audiences.  This leader will oversee a high-performing, globally distributed team that is responsible for the integrity, quality, and consumption of enterprise master and reference data. This role is central to the overall data strategy in driving adoption of data standards and implementing data quality improvement efforts that reinforce the organization's digital transformation and AI initiatives.</p>\n<p>This leader will interact directly with business stakeholders, application teams, and vendors to identify and provide creative solutions to source, master, and disseminate primary data sets across various consumers in the Allegis Enterprise.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage the day-to-day direction, performance management, and professional development of their team members.</li>\n <li>Lead the hybrid agile team in the development, deployment, and support of new and existing capabilities within master and reference data management. </li>\n <li>Drive the team to leverage or develop well-defined practices and processes that aid in increasing productivity and minimizing technical debt to ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, adhering to high-quality standards, and meeting customer expectations.</li>\n <li>Serve as the technology owner, accountable for implementation, maintenance, and performance of the master and reference data platform.</li>\n <li>Partner with business and internal IS stakeholders, external vendors, and implementation partners to ensure transparency, alignment, and delivery excellence.</li>\n <li>Develop an operating model for measuring and monitoring data quality and consumption of the master and reference data domains.</li>\n <li>Assist the Delivery Manager in the execution and refinement of the overall Data Management strategy, mission, and vision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervisory or Management Responsibility:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct end-to-end team management – recruit, supervise, develop, train, and evaluate team members.</li>\n <li>Identify and remediate skills and resource gaps required for future work.</li>\n <li>Act as coach-leader, developing others into future leaders and complex problem solvers while helping them formulate and achieve their own professional development goals.</li>\n <li>Communicate and engage with highly technical knowledge workers.  Challenge team members' thought processes to drive them to better solutions.</li>\n <li>Establish operational/team objectives and goals and align them to the overall IT and business strategies​.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Budget Responsibility:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Significantly contribute to the development of departmental budgets and actively manage budget to plan.</li>\n <li>Manage monthly forecast and resolve against actual spend.</li>\n <li>Manage vendor contracts, balancing opportunities to streamline and optimize services with long-term needs.</li>\n <li>Plan capacity fluctuations based on delivery roadmap.</li>\n <li>Share fiscal responsibility for the organization's technology investments and future planning of the organization's spend​.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Mininmum Education and/or Experience:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li>\n <li>10+ years of IT experience with at least 2–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.</li>\n <li>2+ years' experience executing established master and reference data classification strategies, including processes, policies, and procedures.</li>\n <li>2+ years’ experience demonstrating expertise in data quality frameworks and processes.</li>\n <li>Experience in any of the following disciplines/technologies and their practical application to business products and processes: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Master and Reference Data Management – Reltio or similar technologies.</li>\n   <li>AI Capabilities – Familiarity with AI tools and applications, particularly in the context of data quality and consumption.</li>\n   <li>Cloud Data Platforms – Snowflake or similar technologies, and the ability to perform data analysis using PL/SQL or similar techniques.</li>\n   <li>Data Catalog and Metadata Management – Alation, Snowflake Horizon or similar technologies.</li>\n   <li>Data Governance – Data policies and stewardship best practices.</li>\n   <li>Data Integration – including API architecture, event-driven design, best practices, etc. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Proven experience managing enterprise-scale applications.</li>\n <li>Proven experience managing a hybrid offshore/onshore. collaborative team of at least 15 resources.</li>\n <li>Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills/Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Superior oral and written communication skills required.</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to lead technology efforts or implement services and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Strong technical project management and/or leadership skills including the ability to plan, organize, and steer activities with competing demands.</li>\n <li>bility to advise senior management in strategic decisions – from business use case prioritization to tool/software selection.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits Overview:</strong></p> \n<p>Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
