    "description": "<h2>About the Role</h2>\n<p>Complete Building Services is seeking a Building Maintenance Mechanic to join our Operations and Maintenance team. This role is responsible for performing preventive and routine maintenance at a large facility located in Washington, DC. The scheduled work hours for this position are Monday-Friday 10:30 am-7:30pm.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Major Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform daily tours of all mechanical rooms, computer rooms, electrical rooms, garages, roofs and all other areas as assigned.</li>\n <li>Complete routine PM's (change filters, belts, clean coils, etc.) on AHU's, FCU's, exhaust fans and other mechanical equipment as assigned.</li>\n <li>Ability to troubleshoot HVAC equipment and make minor repairs.</li>\n <li>Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge to troubleshoot and make necessary repairs to commercial light fixtures, outlets, toilets and urinals.</li>\n <li>Maintain equipment to industry standards.</li>\n <li>General skills to repair door hardware and blinds.</li>\n <li>Complete weekly generator and fire pump tests.</li>\n <li>Help with event set ups and tear downs.</li>\n <li>Provide assistance and support to sub-contractors designated to perform installation and/or repair of equipment and/or hardware as required.</li>\n <li>Be able to support snow removal as needed.</li>\n <li>Interface with building manager and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Hours: Monday-Friday 10:30am-7:00pm</p>\n<p>Salary: $25.00 per hour</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>You Should Have</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>3 years experience operating and maintaining commercial buildings in the past 5 years</li>\n <li>Requires reliable transportation</li>\n <li>High school diploma or GED preferred</li>\n <li>Hands on equipment experience including, but not limited to: changing filters, grease bearings, repairing flush valves, stop valves, change ballast/light bulbs</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service skills</li>\n <li>EPA Universal 608 (CFC) license </li>\n</ul>\n<p>    EOE, including disability/veterans </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Why You'll Love Working With Us</h2>\n<p>Complete Building Services (CBS) is dedicated to delivering exceptional building operations and maintenance services for commercial and government facilities.
