Per diem employees are offered work on an &quot;as-needed&quot; basis.</em></strong></span></p><h2 id=\"isPasted\"><span style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'><u>POSITION SUMMARY:</u></span></h2><p><span style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>Under the administrative direction of the Imaging Services Manager, independently performs diagnostic x-ray exams with minimal supervision.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'><u>POSITION REQUIREMENTS:</u></span></p><p><span style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'><strong>Minimum Education</strong></span></p><ul><li style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>Actively enrolled student of accredited Radiologic Technology program.</li></ul><p><span style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'><strong>License Required:</strong></span></p><ul><li style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>NV State student radiology license.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>&nbsp;</span><span style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'><strong>Certificate Required:</strong></span></p><ul><li style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>Current BLS certification.</li></ul><p><span style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'><u>POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</u></span></p><p><span style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'><strong>Equipment</strong></span></p><ul><li style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>Performs all routine exams in a safe and optimal manner.</li><li style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>Operates highly complex radiographic equipment within the radiology department, selecting technical factors to ensure high-quality radiographs using the A.L.A.R.A. (as low as reasonable achievable) standards.</li><li style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>Competent to utilize all x-ray rooms in main department.</li><li style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>Process images and review for overall quality.</li><li style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>Perform required warm-ups and equipment quality control. Report all malfunctions to Imaging Services Manager and service provider.</li></ul><p><span style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'><strong>Patient Care</strong></span></p><ul><li style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>Ability to communicate with employees, physicians, patients and administrative staff in a courteous and professional manner.</li><li style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>Verifies correct patient using 2 forms of ID.</li><li style='font-family: \"times new roman\", serif; font-size: 16px;'>Transfer patient to imaging table, explain procedure and position patient according to protocol.
