      "value": "HyImpulse is looking for an experienced engineer to oversee the mechanical design and development activities for what we call <em>Powerpack</em>. These are the key liquid propulsion elements of our state of the art hybrid propulsion system. The successful candidate will sit at the heart of a cross-functional team driving our hardware efforts from a mechanical design perspective. This is a versatile role best suited for someone with broad experience from a machine design background. <br><strong> </strong><br><strong><em><u>Dependent on the individual candidate’s skill, qualifications and experience, senior mechanical engineers are also encouraged to apply. </u></em></strong><br><ul><li>Support the design and development of HITs powerpack hardware with a focus on high performance turbomachinery components</li><li>Own design packages for R&D and flight hardware</li><li>Own hardware management of liquid propulsion, turbomachinery and fluid system components. </li><li>Drive and manage the manufacturing and assembly efforts for critical components and assemblies. </li><li>Support/manage supply chains of complex hardware for both internal and external manufacture</li></ul>"
