This role ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with production goals.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead and support electrical maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Install, maintain, and repair the sawmill electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide hands-on troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment, minimizing downtime and production impact.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in prioritizing and coordinating daily work assignments and maintenance activities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure completion of work orders in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform and support preventative and predictive maintenance programs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot electrical systems ranging from 24V DC to 480V 3-phase.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Diagnose and repair motor starter circuits, control circuits, and emergency stop (E-stop) systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support and guide team members in troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems, including sensors, photo eyes, proximity switches, and limit switches.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Program, commission, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Promote and enforce safe work practices, including strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in system reliability, safety, and efficiency.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong electrical troubleshooting and analytical skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated ability to lead by example and support team development.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficient in industrial electrical systems and controls.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with PLC systems and industrial automation components.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Electrical experience in a manufacturing or sawmill environment preferred.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Previous experience in a lead or senior-level electrical role preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Willingness to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime as needed.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Frequent use of hands and fingers for tools and equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Regularly required to communicate effectively.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work performed around moving mechanical parts, at heights, and in environments with dust, fumes, and airborne particles.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Noise levels range from moderate to very loud.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally and carry up to 20lbs frequently without assistance.</li></ul></div>\n",
