    "description_html": "We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process development, build execution, and the transition to scalable manufacturing for complex mechanical and electromechanical assemblies. This is a critical, cross-functional role that collaborates internally with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams, as well as externally with suppliers, partners, and customers.<br><br><strong>How You Will Make an Impact as a Manufacturing Engineer:</strong><ul><li>Develop and maintain essential manufacturing documentation including Bills of Materials (BOMs), line layouts, assembly instructions, fixtures, pFMEAs, and production control methods.</li><li>Plan, lead, and execute pre-production builds with a long-term vision for scalable, high-volume production.</li><li>Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to ensure products are robust, reliable, and ready for manufacturing.</li><li>Consult with suppliers to define product specifications, and partner with the supply chain team to procure required equipment, materials, and parts.</li><li>Interface with manufacturing partners throughout the design transfer process to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products that meet all performance criteria.</li></ul><strong>Skills you will need to be successful in this role:</strong><ul><li>B.S. in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with 2–5 years of experience, or A.S. degree with 3–6 years of experience. Strong candidates with less experience may be considered.</li><li>Experience with electromechanical assembly and manufacturing process development.</li><li>Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or green manufacturing principles is a plus.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD software; SolidWorks preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.</li><li>Experience in medical device manufacturing is highly desirable.</li><li>Proven ability to set up manufacturing assembly lines with an eye toward scalability and efficiency.</li><li>Strong understanding of component forming processes, assembly operations, production line optimization, and design for manufacturability.</li><li>Demonstrated passion for solving complex engineering problems and a curiosity for understanding how things work.</li><li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.</li></ul><p><strong>About DEKA:</strong></p><p>One hour from the beach, Boston, and the mountains, the historic Amoskeag Millyard once housed the largest textile mills in the world.
