The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage job cost tracking, billing, and financial reporting while supporting a fast-paced field and office team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience Required:</span> 3–5 years in commercial construction accounting</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You'll Do:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Accounts Payable</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Code and enter vendor/subcontractor invoices to correct jobs and cost codes</span></li>\n<li><span>Match invoices to POs, subcontracts, and change orders</span></li>\n<li><span>Track lien waivers/compliance items before payment</span></li>\n<li><span>Process weekly check runs and ACH payments</span></li>\n<li><span>Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing disputes</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Contract Billing &amp; AR</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Prepare AIA progress billings (G702/G703) independently</span></li>\n<li><span>Generate and send weekly T&amp;M invoices </span></li>\n<li><span>Process change orders and billing adjustments</span></li>\n<li><span>Track and bill retainage per contract terms</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with monitoring aging AR and manage collections process</span></li>\n<li><span>Coordinate with PMs on billing schedules and resolve pay app discrepancies</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Costing &amp; General Ledger</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Maintain job cost accuracy across 50-60 active commercial projects</span></li>\n<li><span>Review WIP reports, flag cost overruns, and identify coding errors before monthly close</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with monthly close tasks: GL reconciliations, variance analysis, accruals</span></li>\n<li><span>Prepare percentage-of-completion schedules and over/underbilling analysis</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain audit-ready documentation (contracts, COs, lien waivers, certified payroll)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Must Have</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>3–5 years in commercial construction accounting (GC or specialty contractor environment)</span></li>\n<li><span>Proven ability to manage full-cycle AP/AR in a multi-project job cost system</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience preparing AIA billing </span></li>\n<li><span>Working knowledge of WIP schedules, over/underbilling, and percentage-of-completion accounting</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficiency with construction ERP systems (Deltek ComputerEase preferred; Sage 300 CRE, Foundation, Viewpoint also relevant)</span></li>\n<li><span>Advanced Excel skills </span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Experience with certified payroll reporting (Davis-Bacon, prevailing wage)</span></li>\n<li><span>Familiarity with revenue recognition under ASC 606</span></li>\n<li><span>Prior role supporting external audits or bank loan compliance reporting</span></li>\n</ul>",
