Description

Description The Wind Turbine Engineer supports senior technical leads in delivering wind asset advisory and due diligence services across North American and global projects. The role includes executing OEM turbine technology evaluations, authoring and maintaining turbine technology reports, and tracking emerging turbine issues and resolutions. The engineer will support site suitability assessments, desktop and field‑based condition assessments, and selective wind farm and turbine inspections. Responsibilities also include assisting with root‑cause investigations of turbine failures, reviewing construction job books and completion records, and supporting warranty and technical due diligence activities. This role provides hands‑on exposure to wind turbine technology, field work, and client‑facing technical analysis. Track issues and resolutions associated with turbine models as they emerge, develop, and are resolved. Qualifications University Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or Manufacturing Technology from an accredited program. 3-7 years of experience working in the wind industry. Background in wind turbine technology. Ability and willingness to perform turbine climbs. Experience with turbine operations, suitability, development, construction, M&A due diligence, owner's engineering, and/or turbine blade design or operations. The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country.
