Ultimately, a top-notch Heavy Duty Mechanic can repair and service even the biggest machinery with expert care.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Inspecting trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment, in a fleet environment, for proper performance</span></li>\n<li><span>Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment</span></li>\n<li><span>Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts</span></li>\n<li><span>Repairing damaged equipment parts</span></li>\n<li><span>Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty and automotive vehicles</span></li>\n<li><span>Repairing and servicing machine attachments</span></li>\n<li><span>Performing major repair work when necessary</span></li>\n<li><span>Consulting with other Mechanics and Supervisor when needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management</span></li>\n<li><span>Actively participate in the compliance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Performs other duties as required</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desired skills and Experience:</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>High School Diploma or equivalent</span></li>\n<li><span>Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Apprenticeship Documentation </span></li>\n<li><span>Proven work experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic </span></li>\n<li><span>Understanding of computer testing technologies </span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic &amp; electrical systems, and construction equipment </span></li>\n<li><span>Must have a Class 5 driver’s license at minimum </span></li>\n<li><span>CVIP license preferred </span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work after-hours if required</span></li>\n<li><span>Good communication skills</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul></ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">LaPrairie Works Inc.</span> provides Industry-leading compensation and benefits, professional training, and development opportunities and all within a supportive, dynamic, and proactive work environment.</span></span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Interested candidates are invited to submit their application</span><span>. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further steps in the selection process. </span></p>",
