They are expected to use various learning methods such as stories, games, and art to intellectually stimulate the children. They are responsible for following proper procedures for changing diapers/potty training, feeding, and maintaining the room's safety. Must be able to work with the daily ebb and flow of daycare life.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>A day in the life of a Daycare Worker at Hackensack Meridian <em>Health</em> includes:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicating with center families effectively and professionally.</li>\n <li>Adapting to the children's developmental needs and executing the daycare's curriculum accordingly.</li>\n <li>Be properly prepared during emergency situations, such as fire drills, medical emergencies, etc.</li>\n <li>Maintaining an open line of communication amongst fellow daycare workers, teachers and management.</li>\n <li>Other duties and/or projects as assigned.</li>\n <li>Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Licenses and Certifications Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>CPR - Adult or CPR - Child</li>\n <li>First Aid Program.</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Contacts:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Regular contact with medical personnel and its visitors.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you feel the above description speaks directly to your strengths and capabilities, then please apply today!</p>\n<h2>Starting Minimum Rate</h2>Minimum rate of $18.50 Hourly\n<h2>Job Posting Disclosure</h2>HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members.
