    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Residential Group Home Supervisor (DSP Background)</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Status: </strong>Full-time, 40 hours per week</li>\n <li><strong>Schedule: </strong>Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, one late shift (10:00 am – 6:00 pm) each week *on-call responsibilities\n  <ul>\n   <li><em>Must be available for on call and live within reasonable proximity to the home</em></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Location:</strong> Harrisburg, PA</li>\n <li><strong>Pay:</strong> $23.00 per hour, up to $24.00 per hour with NADSP Frontline Supervisor certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong><em>Minimum of 1 year of previous Direct Support Professional (DSP) or job-related experience expected; 2+ years preferred.</em></strong></li>\n <li><strong><em>Knowledge of applicable compliance regulations (i.e., Chapter 51, 2380, 6400)</em></strong></li>\n <li><strong><em>Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred</em></strong></li>\n <li><strong><em>A valid driver’s license and 6 months driving experience</em></strong></li>\n <li><strong><em>Access to a vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection</em></strong></li>\n <li>A High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate</li>\n <li>A team player who can be flexible with their schedule</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand the English language</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>As a Residential Group Home Supervisor</strong>, you’ll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living safe, fulfilling, and independent lives. You’ll ensure individuals receive consistent, person-centered care while leading Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home to create a stable, meaningful living environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do:­</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Build strong, respectful relationships with the individuals you support and coach staff on how to do the same.</li>\n <li>Lead and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure daily supports help individuals grow skills, build confidence, and gain independence.</li>\n <li>Oversee daily program operations to make sure goals, outcomes, and quality standards are met.</li>\n <li>Coordinate and supervise medical care, including scheduling appointments, arranging transportation, and ensuring staff follow all medical recommendations.</li>\n <li>Ensure the home is safe, clean, and compliant, guiding staff on safety expectations, monitoring maintenance needs, and submitting repair requests when needed.</li>\n <li>Create and monitor individualized goal plans, working with staff to teach life skills and adjusting plans as individuals’ needs change.</li>\n <li>Partner with individuals, staff, families, and outside providers to ensure consistent, person-centered care.</li>\n <li>Model Servant Leadership, supporting staff, solving problems, and creating a positive, respectful team environment.</li>\n <li>Support, engage, and motivate staff, using coaching and leadership strategies to strengthen teamwork and improve both employee and individual satisfaction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why UCP?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Welcomes both entry level and experienced individuals</li>\n <li>Paid training and certifications including; CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration</li>\n <li>Opportunities for advancement through our Pathfinder Program or within our growing organization</li>\n <li>Same day pay available through Tapcheck</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits may include, Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement with Company Match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and more</li>\n <li>Eligible for Federal Student Loan Forgiveness</li>\n <li>Inclusive culture that values feedback, individuality, and employee recognition</li>\n <li>Refer & earn $1,000</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Join Our Team!</strong></p>\n<p>Change lives.
