This site employs approximately 120 people, generates roughly $60 million in annual revenue, and plays a critical role in producing high-integrity forged components for aerospace applications.</p><p>As a Quality Engineer II, you will lead critical quality initiatives, ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and drive process improvements across aerospace manufacturing operations. You will have responsibility for maintaining a product quality and inspection system consistent with the plant&rsquo;s quality policies and objectives including, but not limited to, dimensional, metallurgical, NDT and part traceability.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Location: Cleveland, OH</strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system. (AS9100, AS13100, NADCAP)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in contract review process to ensure customer requirements can be met and are effectively incorporated in QMS.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and final products to ensure they meet engineering and customer specifications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support site needs related to over-inspection, shipment write up, and other Quality dock area functions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support new product introduction (NPI) efforts by contributing to APQP, PFMEA, control plans, and process flow documentation.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead corrective action projects to ensure effective corrective/preventive actions using tools such as 5-Why and 8D.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen, LEAN, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to production of new products are in accordance with customer requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system and customer requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct internal audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with customer auditors to facilitate audits, close out audit findings using proper corrective and preventative actions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review and disposition nonconforming material reports.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare and submit customer approval documentation.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support Chemical Processing as needed.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p><strong>Required Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering, Material Science or Metallurgy</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">At least 3 years of quality engineering experience.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
