We are committed to supporting your success in both your professional and personal lives.</p>\n<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p>QinetiQ US is seeking a digital processing engineer to support a Department of War (DoW) client in the Chantilly, VA area.  Candidates should have technical education, training, and/or expertise in the areas of signal processing, Radio Frequency (RF) system engineering, antenna theory and design, antenna array development, Directional Finding (DF) methodologies, and/or understanding of associated field applications (such as calibration, multi-path mitigation, accuracy optimization).  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Successful candidates will leverage their digital processing engineering background to support rapid prototyping capabilities in support of the DoW. Operational experience in the areas of signals intelligence, electronic warfare, and/or tactical communications preferred. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist government Program Managers (PMs) in development and execution across the program lifecycle (i.e. from concept development to service transition)\n  <ul>\n   <li>Support development and execution of acquisition strategies</li>\n   <li>Develop and maintain program schedules, milestone trackers, and risk management frameworks</li>\n   <li>Coordinate and facilitate performer program reviews, technical exchange meetings, and stakeholder working groups</li>\n   <li>Prepare/Create materials in support of internal program reviews, concept development decision processes, etc.</li>\n   <li>Prepare/Create technical and executive briefings for varied audiences (internal and external)</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Ensure program security and protection measures are defined, implemented, and adhered to in coordination with SCO Security Representative(s)\n  <ul>\n   <li>Provide critical program information (CPI) and inputs for program security classification guides (SCGs)</li>\n   <li>Ensure security guidance is propagated to and followed by program performers and stakeholders throughout program lifecycle</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Financial and Contract Management\n  <ul>\n   <li>Budget forecasting and allocation to performers</li>\n   <li>Preparing funding requests and associated documents</li>\n   <li>Tracking obligations and expenditures to ensure compliance with financial metrics</li>\n   <li>Prepare and review program documentation, such as Statements of Work (SOW), program work statements, and technical requirements documents</li>\n   <li>Track program budget execution, monitor performer spending, and analyze to inform program plan and identify programmatic and technical impacts</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Performer oversight and management\n  <ul>\n   <li>Facilitate clear and consistent communication to ensure performer efforts are aligned with government requirements and program milestones</li>\n   <li>Advise and assist performers with program management, planning, schedule</li>\n   <li>Manage weekly battle rhythm of TEMs, update calls, etc.</li>\n   <li>Plan and manage program reviews</li>\n   <li>Review all performer deliverables and provide feedback</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Test and event planning, oversight and management\n  <ul>\n   <li>Interface with Government POCs for test events and exercises</li>\n   <li>Provide inputs and review test documentation (test plans, test cards, checklists, AARs, etc.)</li>\n   <li>Lead planning efforts in preparation for test events and exercises</li>\n   <li>Plan for and manage security requirements for events (data handling, IATT, physical security)</li>\n   <li>Provide execution oversight during test events</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Technical & Integration Support:</li>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Provide technical review, analysis, and clarification on specific areas of expertise</li>\n   <li>Provide general systems engineering oversight and recommendations</li>\n   <li>Provide technical expertise and assessment of performer prototype development to inform government decisions</li>\n   <li>Support definition and management of system integration requirements, configuration management, interface control documents (ICDs), and API specifications</li>\n   <li>Support the government team in designing and executing technology demonstrations, pilot programs, and operationally relevant test and evaluation activities</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>TS/SCI clearance Required with SAP eligibility; #qinetiqclearedjob</li>\n <li>Bachelor's of Science in Engineering, physics, math or related technology area </li>\n <li>Minimum of 10 Years of relevant and practical engineering experience </li>\n <li>Must have previous experience with RF/DF and/or DSP engineering experience </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Math or related technology areas </li>\n <li>Prior USMC SIGNIT experience </li>\n <li>Prior experience supporting NSA or relevant experience supporting SIGNIT production chain </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company EEO Statement</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Accessibility/Accommodation:</strong></p>\n<p>If because of a medical condition or disability you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please send an e-mail to [email protected] or call (540) 658-2720 Opt. 1 and let us know the nature of your request and contact information.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>QinetiQ US is an Equal Opportunity employer.
