The <strong>Process Operator I </strong>is a frontline manufacturing position responsible for gasket cutting operation using tools, machinery, and cutting aids. Trimming and cleaning parts per instructions on a production order, drawings and/or specification in order to produce high quality products that meet the requirements. Periodically, the position will be instructing to aid in material handling and/or component picking/packing operation.</p>\n<p><strong>Job Model:  </strong>On-Site</p>\n<p>All fully remote positions have no regular expected onsite scheduled days. Fully remote employees may be required to come onsite due to business needs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Hybrid positions will require employees to work both on-site and remote each week under a schedule that has been determined and agreed upon by you and your manager.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>On-Site positions will require employees to work on-site for each of their scheduled shifts.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>A typical day at work would include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Consistent, regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate equipment to cut sheet materials to produce gasket designs to requirements or specifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Removes finished or cured products from dies or molds using hand tools, air hoses, and other equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs visual in-process inspection of the product and segregates non-conforming parts from production.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to trim excess material from parts using knives and hands to meet specifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitors machine performance, identifies operating errors, and takes corrective action.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to trim, buff, or clean parts as instructed by the process router, drawings and/or specifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Suggests process and manufacturing improvements to increase efficiency in areas.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist the Production Lead or Supervisor in meeting shift or departmental production goals.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Adhere to the company safety rules and quality standards and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain good housekeeping discipline in the work area which includes regular cleanup at every start and end of shift.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete the required documentation for shift production information in required reports such as Work Orders or product label generation.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Handle product with care to ensure safety and cleanliness during handling to prevent damage or cross-contamination.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor assigned machine/s to ensure safe operation and escalate any abnormalities to Shift Lead/Supervisor/Manager and/or Maintenance.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to inspect products for visual defects and non-conformance.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>During low volume periods, this position will assist materials handling and/or component picking/packing when needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other duties or tasks as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience you need coming into this job:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Works under general direction from supervisor.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be capable of reading and understanding instructions.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be capable of following a clearly written and described sequence of events.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work under pressure and work well with others.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic reading and writing skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to work with limited supervision.
