Description

Overview Location: 3205 N Twyman Rd, Independence, MO 64058 Hourly Pay Rate: $19.75 to $21.50 Schedule Options: Sunday to Wednesday, 9:00 pm - 7:00 am Wednesday to Saturday, 9:00 pm - 7:00 am Enjoy three consecutive days off! As a Night Watch , you'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support adolescents aged 12-17 on their path to improved mental health and well-being. Every day, you will be the attentive and supportive presence available to our teens around the clock. Whether they're dealing with homesickness, a stomachache, or difficult emotions, you'll offer solace and guidance whenever needed. Responsibilities Promote a safe and secure environment by remaining alert to overnight safety needs and offering a calm, supportive presence throughout the night. Guide adolescents through evening routines and coping strategies. Proactively respond to emotional or behavioral challenges, helping clients feel supported and grounded. Support a welcoming and clean space by completing routine cleaning tasks and facility upkeep each night. Document progress notes daily and communicate important updates to the Program Director and clinical team to ensure seamless support and coordination of care. Qualifications Age: 21+ Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED is required; associate’s or bachelor’s in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field preferred. Experience: 1+ year working with adolescents in behavioral health, education, coaching, or mentorship preferred. Certifications: CPR and First Aid preferred (training provided). Physical Requirements: Ability to remain alert and responsive throughout overnight shifts. Must be capable of responding quickly in emergency situations and assisting in physical interventions if necessary.
