    "description": "<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Overview:</span></span></p>\n<p>The Director of Distribution &amp; 3PL Operations will work with 2 direct reports to lead operational and financial performance across a multi-site network of 3PL-operated distribution centers in California, Texas, and Pennsylvania. This role provides strategic direction to 3PL partners and is accountable for warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, service performance, cost control, and cross-functional alignment. The Director ensures orders are fulfilled accurately, shipped on time, and delivered in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Location:</span> This position can be located in Alpharetta-GA, Moreno Valley-CA, Texas, or Allentown-PA.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Duties/Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Operations Leadership:</span> Lead end-to-end 3PL warehouse operations across multiple sites, including receiving, put-away, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and returns.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Performance &amp; Continuous Improvement:</span> Establish and monitor KPIs, drive process improvements, and optimize labor, systems, and workflows to improve service, accuracy, and cost performance.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Financial Management:</span> Build and manage budgets, oversee operating expenses, and partner with 3PLs to achieve productivity and cost-reduction targets.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Partner &amp; Contract Management:</span> Manage 3PL relationships, lead RFPs, and support negotiation of warehouse operations and lease agreements while identifying and mitigating contractual risks.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety &amp; Compliance:</span> Ensure adherence to OSHA, DOT, customer compliance requirements, and site safety and sanitation standards across all facilities.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team &amp; Cross-Functional Leadership:</span> Develop direct reports and align closely with transportation, order management, reverse logistics, finance, IT, manufacturing, and customer teams to deliver service excellence.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Skills:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span> Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span> 10+ years of progressive warehouse and distribution leadership experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments, including management of multi-site 3PL operations.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Industry Background:</span> Experience in consumer electronics, home appliances, air conditioning, or similarly complex distribution environments is strongly preferred.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Proficiency:</span> Strong knowledge of WMS and ERP platforms such as SAP, along with advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis skills.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Leadership Skills:</span> Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence internal teams and external partners.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Hisense USA is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information.
