We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Welder to join our fabrication team. This role requires a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, maintains a positive attitude, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.</p><p>This position plays a direct role in delivering safe, high-quality systems that meet customer expectations and production schedules.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication</li><li>Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding to AWS standards</li><li>Ensure proper fit-up, alignment, and dimensional accuracy of fabricated components</li><li>Safely operate overhead cranes and jib cranes for material movement and part positioning</li><li>Follow proper rigging and lifting procedures in compliance with plant safety standards</li><li>Maintain high quality standards while meeting production timelines</li><li>Identify and communicate fabrication issues proactively</li><li>Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>5+ years of welding/fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Experience operating overhead cranes and jib cranes in an industrial setting</li><li>Strong understanding of welding materials, methods, and AWS standards</li><li>High proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions</li><li>Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>High energy level and positive, team-oriented attitude</li><li>Travel occasionally to customer site&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience in custom or low-volume/high-mix production environments</li><li>Working knowledge of SolidWorks and ability to interpret 2D/3D CAD drawings</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Align?</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Be part of a team that designs and builds unique, high-impact systems</li><li>Work on custom projects&mdash;not repetitive production welding</li><li>Opportunity for skill growth and advancement</li><li>Recognition for craftsmanship and continuous improvement</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Shop-floor environment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting</li><li>Standing and walking throughout the shift</li><li>Lifting up to 50 lbs</li><li>Frequent use of overhead and jib cranes for material handling</li></ul></div>\n",
