font-weight: bold\">Pay Range:</span> Dependent upon experience</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Education:  </span></span><span>Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant and eligible for licensure with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Required Certification/Registration:</span></span><span>  Must have current license, certification or registration with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll do:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Provide physical therapy treatments to patients according to the plan of care developed by the Physical Therapist.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist the Physical Therapist when performing test, evaluations and complex treatment procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span>Complete necessary documentation of patient conditions, reactions and responses to treatment in accordance with standards of practice.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist the Physical Therapist in communicating with physicians, departmental/hospital personnel and family members, as needed, regarding patient progress, problems and plans.</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Assure the continued growth and improvement of the rehabilitation Services Department.</span></li>\n<li><span>Attend and participate in required departmental meetings, and other meetings as instructed by the Director of Rehabilitation Services.</span></li>\n<li><span>Attend continuing education opportunities appropriate to discipline and responsibilities.</span><span>Complete other duties as assigned.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Complete all mandatory training/in-services and certification requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span>Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement process, as instructed by the Director of Rehabilitation Services.</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain equipment in proper working order and adapts equipment to meet the needs of the patient.</span></li>\n<li><span>Act in compliance with regulatory, corporate and professional standards and guidelines.</span></li>\n<li><span>Observe, record and report to the Physical Therapist the conditions, patient reactions and responses related to treatment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Instruct patients and their families/caregivers in exercise programs and therapeutic procedures to be continued following the patient’s discharge as directed by the Physical Therapist.</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Perform treatments as ordered in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with established practice guidelines.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"> <span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">What you bring to the table:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Current Physical Therapy Assistant licensure with the Kansas Board of Healing Arts. </span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Current C.P.R. certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Thorough knowledge of principles, methods and techniques involved in performing physical therapy services.  </span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Ability to deal understandingly and tactfully in a professional manner with patients and their families.  </span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Ability to maintain good working relationship with personnel in other departments.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Ability to provide direction in application of physical therapy process, quality improvement standard, organization and departmental goals and objectives.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"> <span style=\"font-size: 16px;
