We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals with food and beverage experience to join our team. As a Pool Greeter you will be the first point of contact for our pool guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their experience starts off on a positive note. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Reporting to the outlet Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will support and provide excellent service at our resort pools, located throughout three levels of our iconic resort. This high-volume requires a passion for personalized service and guest engagement. The new hot spot in Fort Lauderdale will offer luxury products and service, in a dynamic environment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.</li>\n <li>Ensure all guests are assisted by a Pool Attendant to provide a flawless welcome experience.</li>\n <li>Escort guests to their cabanas and provide menus.</li>\n <li>Assist in seating Members and guests according to seating chart or guest preferences.</li>\n <li>Manage waitlist during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates.</li>\n <li>Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information as needed.</li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess/host station and dining area.</li>\n <li>Manage guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.</li>\n <li>Adhere to departmental policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Effectively communicate with peers, management, line, and front-of-the-house employees </li>\n <li>Practice effective listening: (seek to understand) </li>\n <li>Perform related duties as required. </li>\n <li>Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property. </li>\n <li>Adhere to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by Resort policy. </li>\n <li>Be courteous to all guests and coworkers. </li>\n <li>Maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment/hostile work environment policy dictated in the Employee Handbook </li>\n <li>Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes at their respective outlet. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated individual </li>\n <li>Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English. </li>\n <li>Must have effective communication skills. </li>\n <li>Ability to implement and uphold service standards. </li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments. </li>\n <li>Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort. </li>\n <li>Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations. </li>\n <li>Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time. </li>\n <li>Must be flexible and available to work, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li>\n <li>Ability to work under variable temperature conditions. </li>\n <li>Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.</li>\n <li>Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions in pressure situations.</li>\n <li>Ability to remain stationary at assigned post when specified.</li>\n <li>Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience, Education, & Licensure</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED recommended. </li>\n <li>Some College experience or Degree recommended. </li>\n <li>Previous Host experience in a professional setting is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>As a valued member of the CoralTree team, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Group medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. </li>\n <li>Participation in a pre-tax flexible benefit plan for healthcare and dependent care reimbursement </li>\n <li>An employee assistance program </li>\n <li>Paid time off/sick time </li>\n <li>Participation in a 401(k) plan with a company match </li>\n <li>Complimentary team member meals </li>\n <li>Complimentary room nights at CoralTree Hospitality managed properties </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Join us in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, building vibrant communities, and shaping the future of travel and hospitality. #piersixtysixresort </p>\n<p> </p>",
