    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Title:                  </span>Physician – Family Medicine</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Department:                     </span>Medical</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Reports to:       </span>Chief Medical Officer </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Type:</span>                              Full-Time/Exempt</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sign-on bonus</span>              Available</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Relocation assistance</span> Offered for eligible candidates residing outside of LA county</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span>:   The ideal Family Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various medical conditions. <span>This role requires a commitment to practicing medicine in a professional and ethical manner, ensuring compassionate and respectful interactions with patients. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs history and physical examinations on adults and children (if trained to do so).</li>\n<li>Physical exams include per-employment, school, sports, well child periodic screening, etc.</li>\n<li>Gathers complete medical history and performs a physical exam on each patient.</li>\n<li>Deliver high-quality medical care to patients, addressing a wide range of health concerns.</li>\n<li>Conduct thorough physical examinations and develop individualized care plans.</li>\n<li>Provides for the provision of health education and appropriately documents all health education.</li>\n<li>Reviews referral/consultant reports and arranges appropriate follow-up.</li>\n<li>Answers miscellaneous medical questions in the absence of the Nursing Director or Medical Director.</li>\n<li>Assists in training of staff.</li>\n<li>Participates in provider meetings.</li>\n<li>Participates in chart review and quality assurance activities as detailed in the Quality Assurance policies and procedures.      </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervises physician assistants, nurse practitioners, resident physicians and students.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides back up for nursing director and associate medical director as follows:</li>\n</ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Responds to calls from pharmacies regarding prescriptions and refills.</li>\n<li>Responds to calls from other physicians.</li>\n<li>Responds to calls from patients requiring medical advice when the Registered Nurse is not available.</li>\n<li>Triages walk-in patients when the R.N. is not available at the request for front or back office staff.</li>\n<li>Supports front office staff in managing patient scheduling when a provider appointment is canceled, including reviewing medical records and determining the appropriate timeframe and location for rescheduling.</li>\n</ol>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications/Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current Medical License from the Medical Board of California.</li>\n<li>A Medical Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. Medical school.</li>\n<li>Drug Enforcement Administration Registration Certification with current DEA registration Number.</li>\n<li>Board Certification or evident for being Board Eligible in a primary care specialty. (Highly Preferred)</li>\n<li>Knowledge of practice of medicine according to the standard of care in our community.</li>\n<li>Skill in written and verbal communication.</li>\n<li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies.</li>\n<li>Ability to manage and lead clinic operations.</li>\n<li>Selected applicants are subject to, and must pass, a full background check.</li>\n</ul>",
