    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a part-time (20 hours a week) <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Elementary School-Based Therapist</span> to provide school-based psychotherapeutic services to children and adolescents struggling with mental health issues at the Elgin Stella Mayfield school. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Master’s degree in a behavioral sciences field required. Two years of relevant mental health experience with youth populations is preferred.  Meets requirements of a Qualified Mental Health Professional. </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Understanding of behavioral health assessments, treatment and service terminology and ability to apply the concepts, provide psychosocial skills development, and implement interventions.   </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br></span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s license and be insurable for client service purposes, travel between business offices, and to attend required meetings and/or trainings.   </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">· </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 407-007-0200-407-007-0370 and drug screening. </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Essential Job Duties</span>  </span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Must maintain punctual and regular work attendance</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Assessment and screening of adolescents, and children </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Provide individual, group, and family therapy; develop individual treatment plans</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Develop format and gather curriculum for specific population groups</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Provide crisis response on-site at Stella Mayfield</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Weekly consultation with Behavior Health Team crisis and family treatment teams</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Assist clients in applying for and obtaining services and benefits; transportation needs; community involvement etc.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Monitors client appointments and progress; maintains accurate and timely case notes, treatment plans and client records </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Participate in group and one-on-one supervision as appropriate</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Makes referrals to other community clinics or agencies as appropriate.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Works as a consultant or trainer to staff, other individuals, other agency personnel.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Provides mental health and chemical dependency education and training to other staff, outside professionals, family members and the community.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Must have the ability to maintain positive and professional working relationships with co-workers, clients and other agencies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Other duties as assigned. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Benefits:</span> </span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Part-time non-exempt position with attractive pro-rated benefit package that includes paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life/AD&amp;D insurance, long-term disability insurance, excellent retirement benefit with generous contribution to 401k after 1000 hours, Professional Development Plan, one month paid renewal leave every 7 years, annual employee appreciation picnics and dinners, Mental Health Days, gym discounts, and more.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Area:</span> </span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Tired of the rat race?
