This is a 20-hour-per-week, part-time position that can be home-based. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This is a part-time, grant funded opportunity. Current funding will expire on June 30, 2029, with the possibility of extension.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The position will support Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (CERP) implementation, various national CPR initiatives, and provide administrative/logistical support to help us achieve health impact and revenue goals.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Association offers many resources to help you maintain work-life harmonization through your changing needs and life situations. Be Valued at the American Heart Association by following us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and at heart.jobs.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides a wide variety of skilled program coordination, administrative, logistical and clerical support to staff and volunteers in accordance with our policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Ability to fully understand and support assigned initiatives and programs and ensure a high quality of service is provided to all staff, community partners, and volunteers.</li>\n <li>Coordinates logistics for assigned events, meetings and programs and provides day-of-event support as needed.</li>\n <li>Attends staff meetings, stays current on department and association-wide updates, and applies the information learned.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as needed to achieve department and association-wide goals.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent. </li>\n <li>5 years of relevant work experience. </li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.</li>\n <li>Advanced project management, time management and organizational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to multiple priorities.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including skill in proof reading for grammar and spelling.</li>\n <li>Ability to work collaboratively and to maintain a professional manner in all dealings with internal and external stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of CPR and Hands-Only CPR training options.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the America Heart Association mission and initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation & Benefits</h2>\n<p>The expected pay range will be <strong>$25 to $30 per hour</strong>. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
