Description

To support the continued delivery of quality and compassionate care in our communities, we are offering a retention bonus of $1,000.* Your commitment helps us meet critical service needs, and we’re excited to have you be a part of our mission! Use Your Recovery Journey to Guide Others as a Peer Specialist – EPICC Your experience matters — and your recovery story can be a lifeline for someone else. As a Peer Specialist on our Engaging Patients in Care Coordination (EPICC) team, you’ll provide hope, support, and real-world guidance to individuals working to overcome substance use challenges. About the EPICC Program: The Engaging Patients in Care Coordination (EPICC) program is a statewide initiative in Missouri that connects individuals with substance use disorders to treatment, recovery, and support services through community partnerships and personalized care coordination. EPICC is designed to meet people where they are—often after an overdose or other crisis—and walk alongside them toward recovery. As part of this program, Peer Specialists provide vital support by sharing their lived experience, offering hope, and helping participants navigate the early stages of treatment and beyond. Peer support in the EPICC model is about building trust, reducing stigma, and empowering individuals to take meaningful steps toward lasting recovery. This is a great opportunity for someone who: Is in recovery from substance use or a behavioral health diagnosis and wants to make a powerful impact by supporting others through similar experiences. If you’re passionate about peer support, harm reduction, and empowering people to build lives they’re proud of, this role offers purpose, connection, and growth.
