Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations. We are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink.   We will train right candidate to operate a mill machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for: Manufacturing batches of ink on mixers or mills Packaging finished product in various containers and applying labels Cleaning and maintaining machines to TPM Standards Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities Weigh-Up Batches: Following proper process order of addition. Shifting between auto and manual steps Creating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times Potentially operating the following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift Acting as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data Completing scheduled maintenance and utilizing troubleshooting procedures. To perform your job as expected, you will be required to: Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent Have 3 months of related work experience Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills Pay attention to detail Be reliable to work assigned shift Be flexible to work overtime as required Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background Be able to perform an active role with any multi-disciplinary teams Have good attendance and punctuality Be able to lift up to 50 lbs In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have: Forklift experience, but we can train you Mixing, mill, and pump filter industry background Previous experience in the ink industry We offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
