Performs activities that ensure the safety, involvement, and creativity of everyone in the group. Under the general supervision of the School Principal and Classroom Teacher, to facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing Diocese approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Rate of pay:</strong> $15.00-$18 per hour (Depending on experience)<br></p><p><strong>Part-Time:</strong> &nbsp;29 hours per week or less, 5 days per week; when school is in session. experiences across various subjects, including religion, art, music, literacy, science, and mathematics.</p><p>· &nbsp;Maintain a neat, safe, and organized classroom environment and assist in the upkeep of all educational equipment and materials.</p><p>· &nbsp;Administers, in collaboration with the classroom teacher, the early childhood curriculum in accordance with Diocesan goals and objectives.</p><p>· &nbsp;Assist students, colleagues, principal, and parents in creating a school climate that fosters growth in faith, academics, and citizenship.</p><p>· &nbsp;Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small-group instruction, as well as student learning.</p><p>· &nbsp;Teach Catholic values and stories of faith with commitment in the daily curriculum.</p><p>· &nbsp;Encourages parental involvement in students’ education and ensures effective communication with students and parents.</p><p>· &nbsp;Ensures that student conduct conforms with the school’s standards and policies, and establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.</p><p>· &nbsp;Supervise students in activities that take place outside the classroom during the school day, including those involving school transportation.</p><p>· &nbsp;Support the teacher with instruction and clerical tasks.</p><p>· &nbsp;Prepare materials and equipment for activities.</p><p>· &nbsp;Support the teacher in his/her immediate needs.</p><p>· &nbsp;Make photocopies.</p><p>· &nbsp;Collate paperwork.</p><p>·
