    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Position:</strong>&nbsp; Director of Student Health&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Reports to:</strong>&nbsp; Vice President for Student Life &amp; Dean of Students</p><p><strong>Status:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>10-month full-time</p><p>Chestnut Hill College, founded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph in 1924, is an independent, Catholic institution that strives to foster equality through education. &nbsp;The mission of the College is dedicated to promoting the spiritual, academic, social, ethical, and moral development of the whole person. &nbsp;The College, situated in Chestnut Hill, a charming neighborhood in Northwest Philadelphia, serves a culturally diverse student body. &nbsp;</p><p>The Director of Student Health is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of Student Health Services. &nbsp;This is a full-time, 10-month position with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 403(b) retirement plan, and tuition grant. Additionally, we provide generous paid leave, which includes numerous College-paid holidays. The Director of Student Health reports to the Vice President of Student Life &amp; Dean of Students.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner</li><li>Prior experience in college or ambulatory health</li><li>CPR and AED certification</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Oversee all aspects of the College Health Center:</p><ul><li>Recruit, supervise, and provide ongoing training for the registered nurses</li><li>Work collaboratively with the physician consultant to ensure students receive appropriate care.</li><li>Evaluate and treat, provide diagnostics and prescriptions, and make referrals for students as needed.</li><li>Effectively manage departmental budget, as well as departmental assessment and planning</li><li>Coordinate the ordering &nbsp;of medical and other health office supplies</li><li>Oversee the functioning of College AED and NARCAN machines, perform monthly checks, and order supplies. &nbsp;</li><li>Provide annual educational training for the Residence Life staff and campus-wide health education.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of all health records. &nbsp; Collect and review all health forms including immunization records for all undergraduate students, including periodic monitoring and follow-up during the summer months. &nbsp;</li><li>Provide oversight for the electronic medical records (EMR) system to ensure accuracy, security, and efficiency.</li><li>Maintain accurate data collection related to health center utilization.</li><li>Consult and collaborate with the Counseling Center, athletic trainers, and other college offices related to students&#39; mental and physical health.</li><li>Ensure the College is meeting all city, state, and federal requirements related to College student health.</li><li>Coordinate health information and necessary precautions related to health issues that affect the College community. &nbsp;</li><li>Develop a collaborative working relationship with Security, Residence Life, Student Life, and the Chestnut Hill College community.</li><li>Maintain a relationship with the City of Philadelphia&rsquo;s Department of Public Health.</li><li>Keep current on College Student Health issues.</li><li>Work with the Student Life staff to develop a peer-health education program.</li><li>Work with members of the Student Life Team to develop and execute educational programming related to Alcohol and Other Drugs.&nbsp;</li><li>Serve on the Wellness committee, attend student-life staff meetings, staff development days, Accepted Student Days, Griffin Days, Opening, and Graduation, and serve on task forces and/or committees.</li><li>Meet regularly with nurses and Vice President for Student Life &amp; Dean of Students as needed.</li><li>Report unsafe or concerning health-related issues to the Vice President for Student Life</li><li>Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of the College and the Sisters of St. Joseph.</li><li>Complete other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Student Life &amp; Dean of Students.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\">Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume via&nbsp;<a href=\"https://workforcenow.adp.com/mascsr/default/mdf/recruitment/recruitment.html?cid=5db18de3-3e94-4cd7-92de-745bcad7c3e4&ccId=19000101_000001&type=JS&lang=en_US\"><strong>ADP Workforce Now HERE</strong></a>. &nbsp; No phone calls, please.</p><p><em>Chestnut Hill College is an employer committed to a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion as a core value. &nbsp;To foster an inclusive community and support our diverse student body, we embrace equal access.
