    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>If you are seeking an opportunity at Urick Foundry, we will be hosting Open Interviews on <strong>Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 10:00am- 2:00pm!</strong> If you are unable to make the event - please fill out an application and we will contact you after the event&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Open Interviews are located at 1501 Cherry Street, Erie, PA 16502</p>\n<p>Hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Safely grind parts</li>\n <li>Preform quality inspections to ensure iron meets proper specifications</li>\n <li>Remove gating and sprue from casting. Ensure that castings are not marked with hammer strike.</li>\n <li>Sort large quantity of obvious scrap castings and notify supervisor.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all castings are removed from sorting conveyor line to proper tubs or conveyors.</li>\n <li>Operate Cleaning Press and small punch press to remove sprue without marking castings.</li>\n <li>Operate cut off saw.</li>\n <li>Operate hydraulic wedger.</li>\n <li>Operate small cleaning machine.</li>\n <li>Operate Tennant sweeper to clean shop floors.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;WHO YOU ARE:</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>You apply others’ diverse experiences, styles, background, and perspectives to get results.
