You&rsquo;ll operate forging machines to shape steel workpieces, perform quality checks, and maintain equipment. This is a hands-on role in an industrial setting, requiring attention to safety, precision, and teamwork.</p><h3 data-start=\"641\" data-end=\"667\"><strong data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"665\">Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"1028\"><li data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"727\">Operate forging machines to shape, cut, and form steel.</li><li data-start=\"728\" data-end=\"786\">Adjust machine settings for proper pressure and depth.</li><li data-start=\"787\" data-end=\"841\">Inspect workpieces to ensure quality and accuracy.</li><li data-start=\"842\" data-end=\"897\">Communicate with team members to maintain workflow.</li><li data-start=\"898\" data-end=\"964\">Perform basic maintenance and replace machine parts as needed.</li><li data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"1028\">Follow safety procedures and wear required protective gear.</li></ul><h3 data-start=\"1030\" data-end=\"1054\"><strong data-start=\"1034\" data-end=\"1052\">Qualifications</strong></h3><p data-start=\"1055\" data-end=\"1070\"><strong data-start=\"1055\" data-end=\"1068\">Required:</strong></p><ul data-start=\"1071\" data-end=\"1278\"><li data-start=\"1071\" data-end=\"1102\">Some high school education.</li><li data-start=\"1103\" data-end=\"1155\">6+ months of experience loading a forging press.</li><li data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1220\">1 year of industrial manufacturing or production experience.</li><li data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1278\">Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.</li></ul><p data-start=\"1280\" data-end=\"1296\"><strong data-start=\"1280\" data-end=\"1294\">Preferred:</strong></p><ul data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1524\"><li data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1340\">Vocational or trade school certificate.</li><li data-start=\"1341\" data-end=\"1391\">Experience in forging or extrusion operations.</li><li data-start=\"1392\" data-end=\"1462\">Ability to operate machines with multiple settings/specifications.</li><li data-start=\"1463\" data-end=\"1524\">Steel forge press or related mechanical press experience.</li></ul><h3 data-start=\"1526\" data-end=\"1576\"><strong data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1574\">Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environment</strong></h3><ul data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1890\"><li data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1619\">Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.</li><li data-start=\"1620\" data-end=\"1666\">Stand for extended periods (80% of shift).</li><li data-start=\"1667\" data-end=\"1739\">Work in high-heat conditions around heavy machinery and open flames.</li><li data-start=\"1740\" data-end=\"1799\">Must be comfortable with moderate-to-high noise levels.</li><li data-start=\"1800\" data-end=\"1850\">Required to wear protective gear at all times.</li><li data-start=\"1851\" data-end=\"1890\">Ability to work overtime as needed.</li></ul></div></div></div>\n<br/>7a to 3:30p, Monday through Friday.
