    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"line-height:normal;\"><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p><p style=\"line-height:normal;\">Ajax Building Company is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support the planning and execution of complex construction projects. Working closely with estimating, design, and field teams, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining CPM schedules, analyzing schedule risks and delays, and ensuring accurate forecasting from preconstruction through project completion.</p><p style=\"line-height:normal;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height:normal;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Prepares Critical Path Method (CPM) scenarios for management consideration and incorporates final approach into a complete CPM schedule</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Accumulate and access historical and forecast data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting.</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Develop an understanding of project scopes and contracts.</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Communicates with Owner to assure customer satisfaction or implements corrective action when needed</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Provide scheduling analysis for delays and impacts to identify and mitigate project risk.</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Ensures that project teams are aware of and properly responds to risks relative to schedule and delay</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Provides oversight and notifications to management of any concerns regarding contract notice, delay, and proper documentation of project schedules</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Participates in project pursuits and prepares fee proposals, RFP responses, presentation content, etc.</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Accurately documents schedule basis in narrative identifying critical assumptions for internal use, GMP’s and Owner documentation</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Conducts monthly schedule project audits</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Develops or assists in training Project Managers and Superintendents on how to schedule and use scheduling software to manage work in the field</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Supports a positive and inclusive work environment</li></ul><p style=\"line-height:normal;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height:normal;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">3-8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Strong expertise in P6 (Primavera)&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Self-sufficient in additional scheduling softwares such as MSP</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Understanding of Earned Value Management System</li><li style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Self-sufficient in document control and office software such as Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office</li></ul><p style=\"line-height:normal;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ABOUT AJAX</strong></p><p>Founded in 1958, Ajax Building Company is a leading commercial contractor delivering complex, high-impact projects across the Southeast.
