    "description": "<p><span>We are looking to add an individual to our manufacturing team in Houston (Crosby) in our maintenance department <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">(NIGHTS)</span>. Priority will be given to individuals with experience performing maintenance on industrial equipment, with experience in automation/hydraulics.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Shift: 12 hours- Wed-Sat   <span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">(NIGHTS  7pm-7am) (Days 7a-7p) - Some Split Shifts </span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Wage: </span><span>Depending on Experience  + shift premiums</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Job Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Responsible for trouble shooting of machinery to minimize down time</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Responsible for working within/assisting in the development &amp; implementation of PM programs and equipment upgrades</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Record and document time, work order completion information and parts usage on CMMS work order system</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Create work orders and assist in the planning of jobs and projects</span></li>\n<li><br><span>All work performed and completed may require skills such as electrical troubleshooting, Power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum, plumbing, fabrication, and other areas as needed</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Must practice good communication skills with Maintenance Team Members, Production Supervisors and Management</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health &amp; Safety legislation, Company Joint Health &amp; Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Previous experience as a maintenance technician (3+ years); manufacturing setting is a requirement</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</span></li>\n<li><span>Must have previous Hydraulic experience, Electrician experience a Plus</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Strong decision making, problem solving, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills</span></li>\n<li><br><span>A team player who constructively contributes to a positive environment and is able to work alone</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Good interpersonal communication skills</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Excellent technical skills, mechanical aptitude and ability</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and effectively meet deadlines</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Positive attitude with a willingness to learn</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>What We Offer:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>401(k)</span><span> matching</span></li>\n<li><span>Dental/Vison/Health insurance (shared premiums with employer)</span></li>\n<li>Life Insurance</li>\n<li><span>Paid time off</span></li>\n<li><span>Paid Holidays</span></li>\n<li><span>Safety boot allowance</span></li>\n<li><span>Prescription Safety glass allowance</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>North West Rubber</span><span> has been in business for 50+ years as a recycling industry leader in manufacturing industrial rubber mats.  With over 575 employees, NWR has 4 facilities in Canada and the flagship location in </span>Houston Texas.
