    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>esponsibilities:</p>\n<p>Peraton requires a Network Administrator to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order. This position is located at Fort Bragg, NC. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Network Administrator (LAN/WAN) </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitors the LAN and WAN equipment and circuits utilizing Riverbed Event Manager.</li>\n <li>Performs initial triage and resolves or escalates technical problems for established networks.</li>\n <li>Serves as the technical specialist in network problems and emergencies; assists in troubleshooting and resolution of network production problems.</li>\n <li>Maintains network operations, expansion, and potential abuse through enterprise network intrusion detection system, firewalls, and VPN devices.</li>\n <li>Works with configuration management in network design implementation and configuration validation.</li>\n <li>Maintains documentation, which may include CMDB information, as-built drawings, circuit inventory, equipment inventory, configurations, and training materials.</li>\n <li>Performs project work as assigned by the Senior Team members.</li>\n <li>Accurately documents instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.</li>\n <li>Administers the operation of all LAN/WAN-related network services according to Government policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Coordinates and implements network software and hardware upgrades.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoots and resolves LAN/WAN performance, connectivity, and related network problems.</li>\n <li>Administers LAN/WAN security, antivirus, and configuration control measures.</li>\n <li>Uses a variety of tools to monitor and troubleshoot the network.</li>\n <li>Creates monitoring reports and logs and ensures the functionality of links.</li>\n <li>Documents and maintains network topologies.</li>\n <li>Resolves ticket requests, works to resolve incidents, and escalates to the Engineering team when required.</li>\n <li>Represents USSOCOM and interfaces with software and hardware vendors for support issues.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>High School Diploma with 6 years of relevant experience</li>\n   <li>Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience</li>\n   <li>Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Security Clearance:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Active DoD TS/SCI clearance </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Certifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CCWA (Certified Wireless Analysis Professional) certification is required.</li>\n   <li>Must hold a DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Technical Experience: At least one (1) year of prior experience as a Network Admin or IT Specialist</p>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
