    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Baker Engineering, LLC&rsquo;s (Baker) core business centers around the design and development of high-tech, high-performance technologies for a variety of applications, from custom military and commercial engines, to engine components, to the production of parts and mechanical assemblies for other industries. Baker is a division of Was&eacute;yabek Development Company, LLC that is wholly owned by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, a Federally recognized Indian Tribe.</p><p><br></p><p>POSITION SUMMARY</p><p>The Design Engineer is responsible for the development of parts, assemblies and detailed drawings using CAD design software as well as supporting the design work through the manufacturing, building, and testing phases.</p><p><br></p><p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform CAD Design to customer specifications utilizing PTC Creo software (multiple modules)</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Conduct Finite Element Analysis</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Development of parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Conduct engineering analysis of components and dynamic systems</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Support part and engine testing</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Write proposals and reports</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Other duties as requested by management</p><p><br></p><p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Design/CAD software experience</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Mechanically inclined</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Knowledge of hand tools</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp;
