          "text": "<p><strong>What our Plant Manager will do:</strong></p><ul><li>Overall responsibility for entire facility performance and deliver on all P&amp;L-related KPIs.</li><li>Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, and production costs.</li><li>Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing cross-functional team of Managers, Supervisors, Leads, specialists, and hourly employees to support the&#xa0;growing demand of the facility.</li><li>Maintain a safe working environment by supporting all company safety programs, actively participating in weekly safety tailgates, administering discipline as necessary, and following all governmental regulations.</li><li>Build a culture around a continuous improvement mindset, positive work attitude, efficient communication, and a can-do attitude through all layers of the&#xa0;facility.</li><li>Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.</li><li>Provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.</li><li>Perform all necessary financial functions, including capital, budgeting, and asset effectiveness.</li><li>Ensure that personnel training occurs in order to maintain an experienced and knowledgeable workforce.</li><li>Comply with all OSHA, FDA, USDA, GMP, EPA, HACCP, and POM policies and regulations.</li><li>Perform all necessary administrative duties:&#xa0; personnel evaluations, correspondence, reports.</li><li>Monitor plant sanitation on a continuous basis.</li><li>Effectively communicate plant performance in a timely manner with senior leadership and facilitate effective communication at all levels across the Buttonwillow facility.</li><li>Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.</li><li>Manage personnel effectively while maintaining employee morale and adhering to state and federal laws and other applicable regulations.</li><li>Coordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.</li><li>Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.</li><li>Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.</li><li>Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.</li><li>Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.</li></ul>",
