The Impact You’ll Make To be successful in this role the candidate will be able to work independently and lead a team. Our team works together daily and values dependability and reliability. Our team completes their DOT Driver certification through the company upon hire. What You’ll Be Responsible For Oversee Shipping and Receiving Clerks team Coordinate inbound and outbound shipping and receiving of product Oversee inventory/organization within storage areas to ensure safety and accountability Ensure proper and reliable communication with suppliers Oversee record keeping process for all goods shipped and received within the company/farms Schedules and coordinates deliveries within appropriate receiving windows, works with Procurement and Logistics teams to optimize dock scheduling Ensure that all product is properly received, inspected, and stored. As well as that all pertinent data regarding shipments is correctly entered into computerized system Perform all shipping tasks required to create satisfied customers, internal and external Determine method of shipment, prepare bills, invoices, etc. May operate machinery when loading, unloading, and transporting goods Unload shipment as necessary and route goods to appropriate storage areas Other duties as assigned What You Bring Experience in leading and coaching small teams Prior shipping and receiving experience preferred Experience with box truck and forklift driving, preferred Ability to operate machinery, use a ladder, & lift 50 lbs.
