This dual role involves the safe and efficient handling of cargo both on the ramp (aircraft side) and within the cargo warehouse, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, safety protocols, and customer service standards.  </p><p></p><p>Alliance Ground International (AGI) is one of the largest independently owned ground handling companies providing services to 100&#43; airlines in 61 airports across the U.S. and Canada. As we continue to grow, we only look for the best in the industry.  </p><p>  </p><p><b>Job Responsibilities</b>: </p><ul><li><p><b>Office Duties</b>: Cargo Office Agent is responsible for supporting daily cargo operations by handling administrative, customer service, and shipment coordination tasks within an airport or warehouse environment.</p></li><li><p>Assisting customers with cargo shipments, documentation, and inquiries</p></li><li><p>Preparing and processing airway bills, manifests, and shipping documents</p></li><li><p>Coordinating inbound and outbound freight shipments</p></li><li><p>Communicating with airlines, warehouse staff, truck drivers, and customers regarding shipment status</p></li><li><p>Entering shipment information into cargo tracking systems accurately</p></li><li><p>Verifying cargo weights, labels, and documentation compliance</p></li><li><p>Scheduling pickups and deliveries when needed</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><b>Warehouse Duties</b>: Receive, inspect, and store cargo, ensuring proper documentation, labeling, and compliance with security standards.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Perform cargo handling in a timely and efficient manner to meet flight schedules and operational needs.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ensure that safety and security protocols are always followed during cargo-handling operations.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain accurate records of cargo movements, shipments, and inventory in both ramp and warehouse settings.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth and coordinated operations.  </p></li></ul><p>  </p><p><b>Safety, Security, and Compliance</b>:  </p><p></p><p>All AGI Team members have a responsibility and duty while at work to:  </p><ul><li><p>Take reasonable care for their health, well-being, safety, and security, and for the health, well-being, safety, and security of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions while at work.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Cooperate with their manager/supervisor to ensure they can perform or comply with any legal requirements imposed on the company.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, well-being, safety, security, or welfare reasons.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Inform their manager/supervisor of any work situation, equipment, or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health, well-being, safety, and security.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to their manager/supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in the company and carrier Safety and Security procedures.   </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific health, wellbeing, safety, and security rules or procedures.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Fully understand AGI Health &amp; Safety and Security policies.   </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.  </p></li></ul><p>  </p><p><b>Qualifications and Skills</b>  </p><ul><li><p><b>Education</b>: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in cargo handling or related field preferred.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p><b>Experience</b>: 1-3 years of experience in cargo handling, office operations, or warehouse management within the aviation industry.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p><b>Skills</b>: Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p><b>Knowledge</b>: Familiarity with cargo handling procedures, safety regulations, and aviation industry standards.  </p></li></ul><p>  </p><p>AGI offers a comprehensive benefits package for all employees, including paid vacation and medical/dental/vision coverage for full-time qualified employees, as well as medical coverage for part-time employees.
