This busy urban retail center plays a major role in the city’s retail and tourism landscape, welcoming millions of visitors every year.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As part of our on-site customer service team, the <strong>Guest Service Representative - Shopping Centre - Part Time </strong>plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience by delivering professional, welcoming, and solution-oriented service on behalf of our client. Reporting directly to the <strong>Guest Service Lead</strong>, this front-line position assists guests, supports marketing initiatives, and helps ensure daily operations run smoothly.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities :</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Customer Service & Guest Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner</li>\n <li>Provide information about the shopping center, retailers, promotions, and amenities</li>\n <li>Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively, escalating as necessary to the Customer Service Lead</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Retailer & Gift Card Program Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with gift card sales, transactions, and basic troubleshooting</li>\n <li>Provide general support to retail tenants (e.g., job board postings, communication updates)</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate gift card inventory and handle transactions using POS systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Marketing & Events Assistance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the execution of mall events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns</li>\n <li>Distribute promotional materials and respond to related guest inquiries</li>\n <li>Assist with data tracking for marketing or promotional initiatives as directed by the Customer Service Lead</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Operations & Administration</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow all opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and shift reporting</li>\n <li>Operate internal communication tools and systems (e.g., PA system, internal trackers)</li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the guest services desk</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma required</li>\n <li>1–2 years of customer service or front-line experience in a retail, hospitality, or tourism environment</li>\n <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency</li>\n <li>Knowledge of downtown Victoria or retail center operations is an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Friendly and approachable with a passion for helping others</li>\n <li>Calm and professional demeanor in high-traffic or fast-paced settings</li>\n <li>Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable</li>\n <li>Team-oriented with a proactive mindset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Availability</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Availability during holiday seasons and peak shopping periods is required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Closing</h2>\n<p>Allied Universal® is an inclusive and equitable employer, encouraging applications from qualified women and men including persons with disabilities, members of visible minorities, and Aboriginal persons.</p>\n<h2>Requisition ID</h2>2026-1587571",
